The series produced by Tango Films - Powered by Faro Holding has begun filming in this town northwest of Medellín.
Carthago is a period series co-created by Reshef Levi, a big name in the Israeli entertainment industry, and Tomer Shani, an experienced television director. The creative duo has gained great popularity with their latest project "Nehama", a 10-episode series, which has achieved a notable 8.3 on IMDB and is highly recommended by critics. This is a project that has been idealized by himself for years and has the potential to be the artist's masterpiece, thanks to Tango Films (Faro Holding) the project finally leaves the paper straight to the streets of Santa Fé de Antioquia.
In addition, Rujan brings influencers and brands daily so that they can get to know Santa Fé and its great local production, encouraging tourism and businesses in the region, where entrepreneurs have registered a 100% increase in their clients compared to the same period in 2019 (pre -pandemic). During the course of production, Rujan has made various productions in parallel, further expanding the region's economy. Rujan has produced a web-series, 2 advertisements and various content for social networks.
In the hotel sector, Faro Holding invested in 5 complete closed units for business use and another 10 hotels constantly used for the arrival of actors and technicians from all over the world, totaling the use of 12,500 lodging nights.
This may be the largest audiovisual production that Santa Fé de Antioquia has seen, but it was not the first. In the previous 2 years Tango Films has produced Leon Prudovsky's “My Neighbor, Adolf” and also Ben Bachar's “Saving Shuli”, the latter of which has sold over 1 million tickets in just one weekend.
It shows us that when a production in the locality is successful, this opens doors to more opportunities to come. Surely we will see the landscape of Santa Fé de Antioquia on many screens around the world.
